When your doctor orders specific tests to help diagnose your illness you will more than likely go to a hospital or clinic and have an imaging study (often called an x-ray, CT or MRI) performed on that facilities equipment.
The images from that test are read and interpreted by the physicians of Radiology Services of Ardmore who are trained to interpret the images and offer a diagnosis to your doctor.
Because diagnostic tests are a two step process 1) testing and 2) interpretation of the test, you may receive two separate bills. The first bill comes from the facility that performed the test on their equipment and a second bill from Radiology Services of Ardmore for the interpretation of the images taken.
